Educational Staff

Educational staff members of the community devote themselves and are appointed to support the implementation of education, (Pasal 1 Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan). Educational staff have a wider scope of profession or expertise, which also includes librarians, administrative staff, learning resource centre staff.
Educators (lecturers) who deal directly with students, but he still needs support from other education personnel, to carry out his duties properly. Because educators will have difficulty in carrying out their duties if they are in an empty context, there are no clear rules, not supported by adequate infrastructure, not equipped with library services and facilities and other supporting learning resources. That’s why educators and education staff have an equally important role and position in the context of education (learning).
In this case, the educational staff are employees, whether civil servants or non-civil servants who are not lecturers and are active in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya.
